After a sleepless night and a dreamy morning, I had to do something by myself. With an errand to accomplish, I hopped into a train and reserved for myself the front view. Lucky for us, the color of the water was in its natural state. For there were times when it turns pink, or any other absurd color due to the excesses from Lucio Tan’s piggery at the higher portion of the area. This body of water also serves as the residents’ source of water especially because despite being closest to Wawa Dam, the area has no treated source of water.

We’ve sent Kate away twice. When they say practice makes perfect, I guess they weren’t talking about people leaving one behind. It’s never perfect.

Halos araw-araw na may nadadagdag na kagamitan sa piket, nadadagdagan rin ang mga sumusuporta sa laban ng mga manggagawa. Sa bawat araw, may mga kostumer na nakikiisa at meron rin namang tila nabingi sa panawagan nila. Subalit sa bawat araw sa piket, patuloy na sumisingaw ang kabulukan ng sistema, ang pageetsepwera sa naghihikaos na bayan.

Simple lang ang panawagang boykot. Siguradong mas simple kaysa sa sakripisyo ng mga manggagawa di lamang para sa mga batayang karapatan nila, kundi pati na rin sa mga susunod na mga mamamayang pipiliing isantabi ng sistema.
